This Canadian-born artist blends influence from 60s soul to modern songwriting, blending genres and creating poetic moments with her smooth and lustrous voice. Jessica doesn’t hold back, sharing stories of struggle and resilience that is relatable and touching to anyone listening.
Jessica’s musical upbringing was shaped by icons like Aretha Franklin, Carol King, Bill Withers, Joni Mitchell and Fiona Apple.

Jessica’s solo career took off in New York under the stage name Nina Soro. Her second single, “Have It Your Way", produced by Kenny Davis, was featured on Spotify’s editorial playlist “Mellow Morning.” amassing over 2.6 million streams today. Following this success, she released “In Case I Never Told You”, “The Internet”, produced by Charles Myers, and “Pennies For Christmas,” produced by Carson Tworow & David Lavoie, completing her artist project as Nina Soro.
Now performing under her real name, Jessica has been living and working in Nashville. She collaborates with producers Mark Siegel & Zach Hughes, and artists Josh Tobias, Michelle Willis, Remy Garrison, Abigale Osborn, & Andrea Vasquez.
In June 2024, Jessica completed her diploma in studio engineering from The Blackbird Academy, John McBride’s renowned recording studio and training facility for professional audio engineering. With over 100 hours of studio recording experience, proficiency on consoles like the Neve 8058, API and SSL, and refining editing and mixing skills, Jessica is well-equipped to excel in the music industry, bring both creative flair and technical expertise to every project she undertakes.
